Celebration Lunch Venue

Some occasions need a little more space than a restaurant can give you — room to spread out, to talk properly, to let the afternoon go on as long as it needs to. The Barn at Creacombe Farm is that kind of place.

We host celebration lunches, birthday gatherings, family get-togethers and wakes. However you’re marking the occasion, the barn gives you a setting that feels personal rather than hired-out — somewhere with genuine warmth, where people feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

The entrance hall has a cloakroom, which makes a real difference when people are arriving from all directions, and the kitchenette at one end means caterers have what they need to work from. The barn itself is 30 metres long with beautiful natural light and a scissor-frame roof overhead — grand enough to feel special, relaxed enough to feel like your own. We can accommodate up to 80 guests, with parking in the courtyard and on the lane.

We’re not a catering company ourselves, but we can point you towards local people we know and trust if you’d find that helpful. Wakes are something we take particularly seriously. Losing someone is hard enough without worrying about the practicalities. If you need to talk through arrangements quietly and without any rush, please do ring us — we’re happy to help however we can.
